Anita was great with restaurant suggestions, and it was easy to get to nearby coffee shops and gelato. The villa itself was lovely, with tidy grounds and clean, comfortable rooms. Bus #6 to the walls stops very close by. Highly recommend.

We finished our holiday here and were so glad we did. The top-floor two-bedroom apartment was great, and the kids had a blast in the pool. Free parking was a big plus for me. It's a great spot, and the bus makes getting to the old town very simple. Lovely building with self-catering apartments.

What made the stay especially nice for me as a solo traveler was how safe and cared for I felt. I stayed in a small apartment-style studio on the very top floor, and it was comfortable and really clean. Anita, who runs the Villa, is lovely, and the housekeeper was sweet too. There are restaurants all around, the beach is close, and it's lovely to walk along the oceanfront. The bus stop for a direct ride to the Old Town is nearby; walking there is easy too, about 5 kilometers and 30 minutes, which I did. The Villa is connected with the beautiful More Hotel down the road, a nice perk. I went to More Hotel for dinner one night, and the place is gorgeous, with a beautiful beach, bar and restaurant facilities. Breakfast was the one thing I would've changed. It came with the stay, so I had it every day, but the food was just average, though not bad. I was otherwise very happy with the accommodation and would gladly return or recommend the Villa.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Villa Filaus as a family. The apartment was spotless and in perfect condition, and the staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. It's a short ride to the Old Town and to several different beaches, while being away from the Old Town crowds. We'd definitely come back.

The apartment was fab, a lovely place for a family and right in a central spot. The only reason I'm holding back a fifth star is that ours didn't have a balcony.
