You’re always 5-10min from everything, which worked out great. I used Google Maps at first, then got used to finding my way around. The shuttle bus to the hostel costs €15 return. The mattresses were clean and the pillows comfortable, not worn down, and every bed had its own plug. Toilets were clean, and the showers were great, with a fixed head above and a second flexible one so you can aim it where you need.

The place was calm at night, which surprised me in a 10 people sleeping dorm, and I stayed comfortably for one night. The staff were very friendly and kind, and easy to talk to if you had questions. Everything was in very good condition and clean. They also let me leave my baggage and keep using the facilities on the day I left, which was very accommodating. It may cost a few euros more than the cheapest option, but I thought it was worth it. I had a great stay at Hostel Angelina!

The social side and staff really make this hostel. People were up for playing football, relaxing at the beach, or even doing laundry together, and you might get a workout carrying about 80kg uphill. My dorm also had a snoring competition, which I sadly came last in. Better luck next time. The facilities were great, with clean showers and toilets and comfortable beds. It’s probably the cheapest in Dubrovnik, right in the middle of the old town, and honestly, it’s perfect.

The private rooms are comfortable and feel secure, though they’re a bit of a walk from the hostel’s main building. Everyone was really friendly. Georgia made us feel welcome, and Susannah’s sangria was fantastic. The hostel is in a great spot.

The location puts you right in the middle of everything, which is the best part of this pricey hostel. Our shower wasn’t working, so we had to use one by main reception and walk through a bar to get there. For such a busy place, the shared terrace felt pretty small. Ahmad was welcoming and helpful with our bags on the first day.
