The owner was kind and helpful, and the apartment was clean and nice. It’s handy for getting around, with the beach, Old Town, bus station, taxis, and guided tours all nearby. One warning if you’re driving your own car: don’t enter that area. Foreigners aren’t allowed, and the police may give you a hefty fine.

Marko made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived, and his local suggestions led us to little places we likely wouldn’t have found ourselves. The apartment was spotless, with a cozy feel alongside its modern comforts, and we could easily duck out to explore the busy Old Town before returning to a peaceful place. Apartment Seistanca Lux-Old City is right beside the main entrance to Dubrovnik’s Old Town, Pile Gate. It felt like a home away from home, and I’d recommend it to anyone after a comfortable stay in a great spot with a genuinely warm welcome.

Marko and his wife were wonderful. They were there from the beginning to help with our bags, point us toward affordable, convenient parking, and suggest somewhere for dinner. The cozy apartment is only a few meters from the Porta Pile entrance, and you can reach it without stairs, which matters a lot when the old town has so many of them. It felt like being at home in a historic city that draws plenty of tourists.
