BEWARE! The owner was incredibly slow to communicate, and I wouldn't expect a reply for about a week. Our flight plans changed, so we planned to arrive one day later than originally booked for our 5 night stay. I emailed the owner multiple times over a week before the original check-in date to let her know, but heard nothing back. Only after I landed in the country on the changed date did she reply, saying I “didn’t show up.” She had canceled my entire 5 day reservation and rebooked it with someone else, leaving us stranded in Croatia. The stress was insane. She offered no help or compensation to fix the situation. Useless, heartless owner. Do not book if you're worried about cancellation. BEWARE!!!!

Diana and Joseph made us feel so welcome and were incredibly helpful. The apartment was close to everything, and we had a great stay. Thank you both!

The rooms were spacious and clean, and we barely heard anything from outside thanks to the good sound insulation. The location was perfect.

We stayed in a clean, comfortable ground-floor room with working air conditioning, close to restaurants and bars. The hosts, Diana and Josip, were friendly and helpful. They gave us a city map with tips on places to see and eat, and Josip, who is a tour guide, arranged a private walk along the walls at a pace that suited us. He shared Dubrovnik's history and interesting facts in English, along with some light conversation. They also arranged our airport transfer at the end of the stay. The apartment is in the old part of Dubrovnik, so expect plenty of stairs. The climb can be good exercise after a big meal at one of the nearby restaurants. With luggage, we found it easiest to come from the Vrata side, away from Ploča, since that route has fewer steps. I highly recommend it 👍
