Hotel Lapad

Jasna at reception made the stay especially memorable. She was so thoughtful, and when I couldn’t get to breakfast one morning, she put together a little breakfast for me. The whole team was kind, attentive and helpful, and I felt really looked after from start to finish. Such a welcoming visit, I’d absolutely recommend this hotel.

The room was a real plus: spacious, clean, with a good shower and a comfortable bed. Getting to the old city was easy since the bus stops nearby, though the hotel itself is by the harbour rather than on the Lapad promenade or seafront. There aren’t many bars or restaurants within walking distance. Staff seemed a little uninterested, and the hotel bar felt rather soulless.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the location was great, but the dinner buffet was a letdown and didn’t feel worth the price, even with the 20% discount. Our room was small and average, though nicely updated, with a badly laid-out bathroom and very poor lighting. The bigger problem was the heat. The A/C had been shut down for the season, and the ventilation in our room didn’t work, so we were trying to sleep in about 25°C (78°F) without even a fan. Staff showed little interest in helping. We barely slept during our five nights because the room was so hot.

The room had everything we needed, and finding robes laid out on the bed was a lovely touch. I really liked the decor, and the hotel was clearly well maintained. Every staff member we met was kind and friendly. One of my best hotel stays ever, 10/10!
