Old Town Beachfront Apartment

Our booking was cancelled through Booking.com two weeks before our holiday, even though I’d booked and paid months earlier. The message was in Chinese; when we translated it, it said the place had closed down. But I’d just checked online and it was still possible to book, so I presume they found someone willing to pay more. We were left in Croatia without a hotel in Dubrovnik. Don’t trust this accommodation. We can’t leave a review on Booking.com because we never stayed there.

The rooms were lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location is unreal, right on the main beach and only five minutes from the port and old town.

Its only real advantage is the excellent location near the old town and beach. The apartment was uncomfortable, with a bed in the kitchen, and it felt dark and hot. The design, furnishings, and equipment were all very poor.

You get fabulous views from this beachfront spot, right outside the Ploce gate of old City Dubrovnik. Perfect location.
