Rilati Old Town Palace

It was difficult to find, and it’s higher up than a second floor. The two single beds pushed together weren’t comfortable. There should be railings on every staircase.

The service was amazing. We accidentally left something behind, and even though it had ended up in the garbage, the hotel kindly offered to ship it to our next hotel. The owners responded fairly quickly whenever we asked for towels or pillows. We stayed three nights in the Attic Room, which was clean and spacious for four, with two separate bedrooms, a kitchen, table, and couches. The bathroom was modern and really nice. It’s right by the Jesuit stairs, a perfect location. Such kind people, I definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is absolutely perfect for the Old Town, with bars and restaurants just a stone’s throw away and so much choice. Our room was a good size and spotless, and the air conditioning worked great at night. It was also very quiet, which helped with sleeping. Check-in was easy, and Ana helped us arrange a taxi from the airport and an early check-in since we had a wedding that day. The room had a little kitchen area with cups, plates, and a kettle, plus a good-sized bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower. The bed may have been the most comfortable I’ve slept on, and the two separate covers were handy since I fidget at night. There’s coffee and fruit tea in the room. If you want regular tea, bring bags, or pick some up at the mini market in the square, about two minutes away. A perfect base for exploring the Old Town.

We had a really great stay. This is a hidden gem that feels underpriced, right in the centre of the Old Town and within a ten-minute walk of every attraction. The room had a mini fridge, very good air conditioning, and a great bathroom with a hot shower. Staff let us check in early because the room was ready, though it isn’t guaranteed. Cleaning and checkout were good too. It had everything we wanted in a hotel.
