The view was nice, and the room was spacious with a clean toilet. The owner wouldn’t let me switch on the air conditioning in the morning, though she did bring me a cup of tea while I was having breakfast.

The hostess was friendly, and the price was good for what you get.

We stayed for about six days, and the couple running the house made us feel like family. They welcomed us with juice and offered whatever we needed; the woman also brought us figs and snacks now and then and was happy to answer questions. Their English isn’t perfect, but a mix of English and gestures worked easily. The rooms have air conditioning. There’s a pizzeria right next door and a supermarket nearby, with several more places to eat a 3-5 minute walk toward the coast. The center is about 20-30 minutes on foot, or you can take the bus from a stop three minutes away. It takes 7 to reach the center.
