The rooms were clean and as described, and we had no issues with the accommodations themselves. There are tons of stairs because it’s in the old city. The problem was the host: a small parking issue was quickly fixed, but he became extremely aggressive and threatened us. His communication throughout our visit was thoughtless and aggressive for no apparent reason. Having the person hosting you threaten your safety is a terrible experience for any traveler, and it’s why I’m giving one star across the board. It was a terrible end to our time in an otherwise magical, though very touristy, spot.

Right in the heart of the old town, with great hospitality and a great location! 100% recommended. If I ever come back, I’ll definitely choose the same apartments.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, with fresh towels every day. She even gave us beach towels to use. The host was very nice and helpful, and offered us juice when we arrived. Would recommend!

The host’s behavior was completely unacceptable, and it made this a horrible experience during our honeymoon. We’ve traveled to 40+ countries, and this was by far the most unprofessional interaction I’ve had. We tried several ways to pay for the parking lot, but the person wasn’t there to meet us when we arrived. We left intending to pay and were about to call the man to ask where to meet him. Instead, the host called, yelled at the top of his lungs, and threatened to do “multiple terrible things to us.” There was no reasoning with him. We went back to the lot and paid the lady who was there by then. I’ll be reporting this to Expedia. He also yelled that public parking is only $8 and that we didn’t need to pay him 4x the rate to park if we didn’t want to, so I guess the parking spot is a scam too?! Who knows. I would NOT recommend this place. STAY AWAY.
