The bed was huge and comfortable, the shower had strong pressure, and the kitchen was well equipped. We stayed three nights and found the sea view and quieter setting a lovely change from the Old Town, which was a 20-minute walk away. Our host welcomed us with the drinks we’d asked for, wine and beer, then showed us a map and explained nearby restaurants and bus routes. They also arranged a paid ride to the airport for our early flight. I’d recommend staying here, especially for couples.

The rooms and facilities were nice, and we had a good stay. Just be aware that getting up to the apartment involves quite a hike.

The hosts gave us a lot of personal attention, and everything was clean. When the room was serviced, I also found a large bowl of grapes. I’m not sure if that’s something they always do or if it was because they’d seen me picking grapes from their vine the day before, but either way it was a lovely gesture.

Parking in Dubrovnik can be a real struggle. The street is tricky for any vehicle, but the owners did their best to find a spot for our van. They were warm and welcoming from the start, greeting us with chilled wine and kind words. The apartment was very clean and had everything we might need, and the shared kitchen was especially well equipped. If I come back to Dubrovnik, I’d be happy to book here again.

The bedroom and bathroom were well equipped, and the owner was very welcoming and kind. The only drawback was that some guests left the kitchen dirty. It isn’t the owner’s job to clean up after them; people should learn some manners or stay in a hotel. I definitely recommend this place near the city centre.
