The view from the bedroom was the best part. I picked up food at the local shop and ate breakfast looking out over Dubrovnik. The owners were extremely kind and helpful, and offered local recommendations and insider tips on sites. The old home sits up quiet, beautiful streets, and I felt welcome and blessed from the moment I arrived. The lovely room had everything I needed: a comfortable bed, air conditioning that worked perfectly in the warm climate, a fridge, plates, cutlery, wine glasses, coffee mugs, a kettle, tea and coffee. There was a pile of Dubrovnik guidebooks too, and as a medic I appreciated having a first aid kit in the room. Getting there can mean a lot of stairs if you come from the heart of the old town. Enter through the Buza Gate to make it easier. I packed light, so hiking the narrow streets to find the hotel was fun and I enjoyed it. This was an outstanding stay and a highlight of my time in Dubrovnik. Thank you!
