Studio Ogresta

The view over Dubrovnik’s old town was amazing, and the host family next door made us feel so welcome. They gave us beer when we arrived, walked us through a map with recommendations, picked us up at the bus stop, and dropped us at the ferry port. The apartment has a proper kitchen and dining area, a separate bedroom, a balcony, and a bathroom. It’s a steep climb from the old town, but the views make up for it. We could even hear the summer festival concerts from the balcony. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Our hosts were wonderful. They met us at the bus stop, offered us a drink, and shared a map, local information, and tips on getting around and places to eat. The balcony looks out over the old town and sea, and the views are spectacular. We had a room with a bathroom, kitchen, and dining table, and cooked a couple of meals to eat outside. Having a washing machine was great. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the old town entrance. I absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it.

The view is breathtaking, and the apartment is clean and comfortable, with lots of morning light. It’s a quiet area, though every morning we could hear a sad dog barking upstairs. The stairs are a tough walk, so we ended up coming back only at the end of the day. Best to take everything you need for the full day with you. We asked the studio to arrange a taxi, otherwise we wouldn’t have found the place.

The apartment had everything we needed for a vacation, including a washing machine, an iron and ironing board, a well-organized kitchen, and good air conditioning. The host was very organized and always helpful. Getting there without a car means climbing over 300 steps up from the Old City. After three days of that workout, you become a better person 😁
