MirÓ Studio Apartments

We stayed four nights, from November 15 to 19, 2025, in Apartment No. 6, and had a beautiful view of the sea, or “kings landing.” It was a brilliant place to stay, and the reception team were friendly and professional. The apartment had a small kitchen for cooking and making coffee, a large modern shower with good pressure, and a separate toilet. There was a TV and couch, a comfortable bed, wardrobe space, sockets by the bed, and great wifi. The old city walls, restaurants, bakeries, and two food shops were all about three minutes away. I can’t recommend it enough.

Just a few steps away from the busy Old Town, the location was perfect. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and the hosts were quick to respond and very helpful. We had a terrific stay and highly recommend it.

We stayed at Miro Studio Apartment in October 2025. It worked as a base for exploring the city, but we found it underwhelming and not especially cozy. Its central location was handy for the major sights, and room #6 had a nice window view. Check-in was easy, with clear instructions for arriving outside office hours. They can arrange airport transport, though Uber worked well for us. Staff could only be reached on WhatsApp, and replies were often slow, especially outside the short office hours of 9 AM to 1 PM. The luggage storage room on the main floor was useful since checkout was at 10 AM, six hours before our flight. The apartment was dark, and the old couch made it less comfortable. The Murphy-style bed was surprisingly comfortable, but there were only two pillows at first; two small ones were added the next day. Watch out for the bed corner, which is easy to trip over. It’s fully furnished, with a mini kitchen, 32-inch flat-screen TV, couch, table and two chairs, mini fridge, and safe. The shower pressure was excellent, and there was a hair dryer. Toiletries included soap bars, combined shower gel and shampoo, shower caps, and a small sewing kit. There was no conditioner, as we already knew, and the sink had little counter space. There were no facial tissues or toilet paper holder either. The TV is in the next room and doesn’t swivel enough to watch from bed. It only has Netflix and YouTube preloaded, and Netflix froze the screen and didn’t work. There are no regular TV channels. The room was warmer than we wanted, with no air conditioning, some lights didn’t work, and hot water ran out quickly even with just two people. It’s on the fourth floor of a walk-up with no elevator, and 14 steps between each floor make heavy luggage a challenge. The location and shower pressure were good, but the furnishings and overall feel left a lot to be desired. It could suit someone traveling light who cares more about being close to things than comfort. Bon Séjour 😐

Everything about our stay felt welcoming, especially the two lovely, friendly women who run the place. From the time I booked, communication was excellent. They helped arrange an airport driver and gave us precise directions. There are seven apartments, all beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were lucky to get apartments #6, with a great view of a cove and the fort above it. The location is incredible and it’s easy to manage luggage, with just a flight of stairs and a few steps along the sidewalk from where the taxi drops you. You can walk everywhere, and the hosts have plenty of good suggestions. The full kitchen was handy for keeping water cold and snacks in the fridge, though we didn’t cook because so many good restaurants are within a five-minute walk. The air conditioner worked perfectly, which was lovely after being out in the summer heat. We’re so happy with the experience and can’t say enough nice things.
