Villa Anica Dubrovnik

Mimi was an AMAZING host. We arrived late on our first night, and she had saved a street parking spot for us, which was a real help since the garage often fills up in high season. Her messages were timely, and she clearly cares about her guests and their time in Dubrovnik. She went way beyond what we asked for. Breakfast was delicious, available any time in the morning for a reasonable extra charge. Our spacious room had a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom, and a small refrigerator with lovely dishes and a tea set. The villa sits in a quiet neighborhood, with a short walk to Old Town and other things we needed. From there you can look over the nearby university area, Park Gradac, and the sea. The shared veranda has lovely gardens and pleasant little spots to sit and relax. Dubrovnik has plenty of hills, and the walks will build strong, healthy leg muscles. We stayed four nights and would come back. Bonus: Fredrico, a sweet elder cat who looks after the porch area. We miss Fredrico so much !!!!!

Mimi and Ricco the cat made us feel so welcome. The views are breathtaking, everything feels peaceful, and it's close to everything. Dubrovnik is beautiful, and the people here are unbelievably friendly. We'll definitely return and stay here again. It's hard to do this place justice with words, come see it for yourself.

Mimi is the real jewel here, such a lovely hostess. Let her make you breakfast at least twice, and try the homemade preserves. They're so yummy! We were grateful for all her help, and the room and large shared patio were both stunning, with beautiful sea views. It's a quick walk into the old town, though the return is steep if you're not very mobile. Dubrovnik was as stunning as expected, but it was the most expensive place in Croatia on our honeymoon trip around the country. Be ready to spend a lot on eating and drinking out, and on souvenirs.

Mimi was lovely serving our delicious daily breakfast, and helped us out in lots of ways, including finding a parking spot. We felt she went above and beyond. The room was superb, and the Adriatic view was spectacular. We highly recommend Villa Anica in Dubrovnik.
