Villa Ivan

Ivan and his wife were kind and helped us with everything. Our large room had all we needed in the bathroom and a terrace with coastal views and an amazing sunset. The kitchen is shared, but it's big and has lots of cooking items. The bus stop is only five minutes away. Totally recommended.

The balcony view is amazing, and the apartment is really spacious and clean. Our bed was comfortable and really good. Ivan is a lovely host who helped us a lot during our stay.

Getting to the house takes some planning. Set your directions to "od Gaia" first, then switch to Cilipska once you're there. The streets are so narrow there's no parking, so I'd really recommend reserving a spot. Taxis are cheap, though, and walking means tackling Dubrovnik's hills in both directions, so bring strong legs and lungs. Inside, there's loads of room: three big double bedrooms, two bathrooms, and air conditioning in every room. The kitchen is well equipped with knives, pots, a conventional oven, a microwave, and a washing machine. The owner was cheerful and full of useful tips. She welcomed us with homemade cake and a fresh drink made from lemons she grows herself.

There are reasonably priced restaurants nearby, since this isn't the tourist-trap part of town. Our hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, and the rooms were great. The view was absolutely amazing too.
