Villa Misita

The balcony looked out to the sea, and being up high gave us amazing views. The owners were thoughtful and very welcoming. Fantastic property, and we’d definitely return.

The bay view from the terrace was really good, and our room was spacious and clean. The person who checked us in was friendly, offered welcome drinks, and answered all our questions. But the walls are paper-thin, so noisy guests are a problem. We were woken both nights, and they vacuumed at 8:30 in the morning. To catch bus number 6 into the city center, you have to go down quite a lot of stairs, then climb back up on the return. We took an Uber back instead, which cost about €6.

The hostess and her mother were incredibly hospitable and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The price was great, and the private room was modern with its own bathroom and a fantastic terrace view. It’s well placed for the boulevard, about a five-minute walk, and the old town is 10-15 minutes away by car or public transport. The shower was the downside. It turned cold after five minutes, and there was nowhere to hang the shower head.

The service was excellent, with staff who were attentive and very friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. A great place.
