The cleaning ladies were really nice, but the rest of my stay wasn't pleasant. I was there for three nights on the way to Bosnia. The water barely ran, and the food disappeared quickly. Thin walls and floors made it pretty loud at bedtime, and the staff weren't apologetic.

We tried the special menu, which isn't always available, and the food was excellent, really tasty with just the right portion sizes. The restaurant is cozy and nice, inside a 4-star hotel. They have local wine you should try, and free parking outside.

The pool area was clean and quiet, and you might even have it to yourself apart from the staff. The accommodation is great and affordable. The sauna and massage area has a relaxing feel, with friendly, pleasant staff. It's also close to the town center, town museum, and a trim-track through sandy woodland. That track is amazing and well maintained for runners and anyone into sports or recreation. Recommended.

A month's notice that a vegan guest was coming, and this is what they served as a "vegan meal" at a 4-star hotel in Croatia in 2022. An absolute disgrace.

There's a museum on the fortress's top floor, and art exhibits are often held there, including Picasso and Dali. The medieval fortress is where the "picoki" defended against the turk invasion. It's also a nice spot for coffee, beer, or lunch, with a restaurant too. Smoking is allowed outside only, so it's child-friendly.
