Our son would head straight for the garden after breakfast, and even with him speaking German and his grandfather speaking Croatian, they understood each other just fine. The owners and their parents, who live in the house too, made us feel like family. The ground-floor apartment was roomy and had an oven, gas stove, microwave, washing machine, a big corner tub, and a shower area suitable for toddlers. There was also a large balcony, though it didn’t lead directly to the garden. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, which was good exercise 🙃. We’d happily return.

There was a little parting gift when we left. The hosts were friendly, and the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It’s a bit outside town, though Fazana was still easy to reach on foot.

The hostess was warm and helpful, and the apartment had a book with all the information we needed for a pleasant stay in Fažana. We stayed in a nicely decorated studio at a reasonable price. Its small kitchenette was better equipped than most. Definitely deserves praise.
