Villetta Phasiana

We’ve just come back from this lovely hotel. The wellness package included two hours of private wellness, which we absolutely loved. The staff were friendly and quick to respond, and the location and room were both nice.

A lovely little gem right in the heart of Fažana. Everyone was very nice, and we liked it a lot. The parking is a little farther away, but they provide a cart service. It’s an ideal place to stay for visiting Brioni.

We could choose between opening the windows and hearing the music and people in the square, or closing them and getting a quiet night. Our Superior room had a lovely view over the main square and ocean, with the sun’s playful reflection on the water showing on the walls in the afternoon. It was small for a family of four, but comfortable and peaceful, with two bathrooms. The bed was cozy and gave us a good night’s sleep after a day out. At 1m91cm, I found it almost too short, though hotel beds are always a bit of a gamble. The hotel’s restaurant serves breakfast exclusively to guests, and there was plenty of room to sleep in and still find a favorite seat. The hotel is right in the heart of Fazana, close to the waterfront and little streets, and about a 10-minute walk from our favorite beach south of town. We also took day trips to Pula, Stoja, and other beaches by bus, taxi, and Uber, and all worked well. Check-in went smoothly even though we arrived late in the evening after reception had closed. The place has a warm, rustic feel, with thoughtful details nodding to local culture and heritage. It gave us a sense of what life might have been like before mass tourism. The staff were warm and attentive, and their personal approach made us feel at home. This is a one-of-a-kind stay in Fazana, and its guest ratings matter more to me than extra stars.

The old building has been completely renovated and the rooms are air-conditioned. The walls aren’t soundproof, though. It’s good value for money, with a lovely terrace and wonderful breakfast. The hotel sits right by the harbour in Fazana, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Theo Huber, Netherlands
