The shaded patio was lovely, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was all immaculately clean and comfortable, with thoughtful little touches. Predrug and his wife were so friendly and helpful, even giving us figs from their garden. They looked into bike hire for us and offered to drive us to the big supermarket in Pula. There’s also a very good supermarket just 100 yards down the road. We were unsure about the pebble beach, but it wasn’t a problem: there are plenty of benches and spots to sit or lie down. The sea was warm and clear, though waterproof beach shoes are a good idea. I think we were the only English people there. Many British visitors go to Dubrovnik and Split, so Fazana still feels like a little undiscovered gem. It was beautiful in September, once the kids were back at school, and only about a two-hour flight from Manchester. We’ll definitely come back next September.

The beach and the charming centre of Fazana are both close by, which is a real advantage. The apartments are beautiful and fully equipped for a family holiday, and the host is exceptionally kind, friendly, and accommodating. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.
