B&B Dal Pescatore

The hosts were friendly and the location was good, but we wouldn’t return at that price. When we booked, breakfast was listed, but there wasn’t any. The place is classed as a hotel, though in my opinion it doesn’t deserve three stars. Our room had no kitchen, the TV channels didn’t work, and the trash wasn’t emptied once during the week. In the deluxe room, the air conditioning worked very poorly, which was a problem in the summer heat. There was also a lot of noise in the mornings and at night because there’s no sound insulation, so getting extra rest or sleep was difficult. All in all, it was solid, but not worth paying that much again.

The hostess was great, and the welcome was really warm and friendly. The room, though, looked as if it were in the middle of renovations, and the house didn’t look like the pictures. There was no breakfast, and no table in the room to put things on. I hope they update the photos and description.

The owner was very nice and spoke good German, and the beach and town center are fantastic, just a two-minute walk away. The rooms were clean and okay, but had no storage at all, no table or shelf, and no fridge. Breakfast was available for an extra charge, and the konoba (tavern) seemed to have closed. The property looked messy and uninviting, and everything seemed neglected. We wouldn’t stay again. The price for what you get and the immediate surroundings were completely unacceptable.

The owners seem to neglect the guesthouse, which is a shame because it has a lot of potential. The location is good, around 150 meters from the beach and restaurants. Some rooms have a sea view, though it isn’t especially pretty.
