The hosts were friendly and helpful the whole time. 4 Palme in Fontana is in a peaceful spot near the sea, with what you need close by. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, just right for a relaxing holiday. I'd recommend it for a quiet, cozy getaway.

Funtana itself is lovely, with a great sea, polite hosts, and excellent restaurant food. But I can't recommend these apartments. We booked apartment number 4 for six nights for two adults and an 8-year-old, and left after four. The kitchen did have dishes, cooking utensils, and air conditioning, which matters in the heat, but we found cockroaches, and the furniture was very old. The sofa was frankly dirty, so the three of us slept in the bed. The toilet wouldn't flush toilet paper. There was barely any liquid soap left in the bottle, and the dishwashing detergent was heavily watered down. There's a coffee machine, but it has an American plug, so bring an adapter.

There was everything we needed for a vacation in the apartment. The host was really pleasant and friendly, lent us his paddle board, and shared some useful ideas for trips and restaurants.
