A nice spot, especially for kids to enjoy.

There’s a spot for everyone here, whether you want to lie in the sun by the beach or find shade up under the trees. The beach is relatively clean, with gravel mixed among concrete panels. Entry into the sea varies, but it’s mostly a gentle slope that works well for small children.

May and September are lovely and quiet here. But prices have climbed a lot: beer is 5,70 euros and a scoop of ice cream is 2 Euros. It feels like a tourist rip-off. I’d rather go back to Toscana, which is cheaper and more romantic.

My baby daughter had a great time, and we really enjoyed being here. The water was very clear and warm, even though people always say the sea in Istra is cold. Don’t listen to them 😂
