We stayed in the top-floor apartment, which was just right for four people. Apartment Maja is a well-kept villa with all the amenities, and there are parking spots at both the front and back. The balcony had a very good view, and steps just down the road on the sea-facing side lead right to the water, which was magnificent. It’s a 10-minute walk to the city center. The only issue was the poor wifi, so Maja should get it fixed.

Maja is a personable host, and the apartment has everything you need in the kitchen, good air conditioning, and a nice bathroom. It's big and clean, with gorgeous sea views. The quiet spot is about a 15-minute walk from the old port, along a pleasant ocean path with places to swim. Maja also runs a restaurant near Pokonji Dol Beach, serving the best squid.

We booked the whole apartment for our group in 2017. The hosts helped us get groceries from the city center, but the place is far from town, so bring what you need ahead of time. The apartment was well maintained and had all the facilities. From there, the sea view is awesome, and a beach with crystal-clear water is a 10-minute walk away.

The owners were very helpful and responsive, and even let us check in early. The apartment was ready when we arrived, spacious, super clean, and had AC. From the balcony the view was excellent. It’s close to beaches and about 15 minutes from the centre of Hvar.

The local beach is just a 5-minute walk away, where Maja and her husband run a restaurant with delicious food at very reasonable prices. The apartment is fabulous, with an awesome view, right beside a cliff where you can go snorkeling!
