Right by the beach, and such a fabulous spot ⛱️

The location worked well, and the woman who gave us the keys was lovely. She worked hard and clearly cared about making guests feel better about the apartment. But the flat itself was small, dark, and very basic for the price. It looked nothing like the photos, which set expectations the place didn’t meet. There was nothing “luxury” or “beach” about it. The decor felt cheap, the building seemed poorly made, and we could hear the neighbors talking through the almost nonexistent sound insulation. The owner came across as focused on charging extra and avoiding responsibility once we’d paid. I left with a poor impression of the customer care and little sense that the guest experience mattered.

Katarina was friendly, and the apartment was really clean. It’s a short walk to Kuviranta, but there’s no shop nearby, just a small kiosk. Without a car, you can catch a bus from Hvar Town to Milna and Stari Grad for a day trip. The apartment is split over two levels, with very steep stairs up to the bedroom. Church bells from next door rang straight into our room and kept us awake. At 6:20 they rang for several minutes. The pool is at another hotel, Lavanda, farther uphill after a lot of stairs.

So quiet and peaceful here, and the beach is only two minutes away. I’d recommend it to anyone.
