We had a lovely six-night stay and no complaints. It’s a family-run guest house with a beautiful view, friendly pets who enjoy attention, and a very welcoming family. Barbara was so accommodating, and even cooked us a delicious three-course fish dinner with unlimited drinks for a fraction of restaurant prices. It was the best food we had all week! It’s on a mountain, so expect a climb. We counted 408 stairs. It has its quirks, as you’d expect from somewhere that isn’t a five-star hotel, but we had an amazing time and will come back 🫶🏼

We stayed for an extended visit and really enjoyed the comfortable facilities, great views, and lovely family and pets. One night they treated us to a huge, delicious meal of traditional Croatian food. It’s amazing value for the price and I’d highly recommend it. I’ve seen people complain about the steps, but the place is halfway up a mountain, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Compared with hotels, the price is good, and the owners are lovely. The view is beautiful too. If you ask, the owner can cook tasty local food using fresh produce from her garden, with three courses for a very low price. I loved my stay and will come back if I return to Dubrovnik.

The landlord is nice, but the place itself was atrocious. The location is a little out of the way, though the bus connection is good. The rooms were dirty, full of spiders and mosquitoes, and smelled strongly of mold. It felt like nothing had been invested in the facilities for years. I felt cheated out of my money, like I was sleeping in the Addams Family mansion. Please don’t waste your money here!
