Adriatic Deluxe Apartments

The views shown when booking are very misleading. Everything else seemed fine when we first entered, but we discovered toilet problems as we used it. The safe couldn't be used either because its key was broken, so within minutes we handed it to the receptionist and didn't want to take chances. The sink was clogged from the first use, the seat was broken, and there were other annoyances too. We had no choice but to check out the very next day. The receptionist acknowledged the problems, but the owner didn't seem to care and blamed us for everything. It was shocking. Consider yourself warned.

If you get one of the sea or port view apartments, you've hit the jackpot. The block itself is phenomenal, right at the port and two minutes from the bus stop. It's in a shopping center with a lovely coffee shop/cafe. Management, hold on to Nikolina. She's a real gem at the front desk and was super helpful.

The room view is awesome if you book one facing the sea, and the place itself is beautiful. The girls at reception were friendly and helpful. The apartment didn't have a coffee machine or even water, so don't expect anything like that. It's a bit far from the attractions, though very close to the bus station. Renting a car in dubrovnik isn't a good idea.

The location is fine, and there is parking. The air conditioning works, and that's about it. I rented a room without a sea view for three people, but there wasn't enough space for us. There was no room in the closet for even some of our luggage, and the useless furniture made it harder to move around. The bathroom needs renovating: the soap dispenser doesn't work, the plastic shower sprays water everywhere, the sink won't drain, and there's a bad smell from the pipes. There's nothing deluxe about this room. My requests to fix the problems or change rooms were ignored. The room needs a full refurbishment and wasn't designed for three people.
