Apartments Olive Tree

We spent seven days in a lovely one-bedroom ground-floor apartment when I visited Olive Tree apartments in July 2021. The views, cleanliness, location, and the owners’ hospitality made it feel like a true home away from home, and some of the best accommodation I’ve stayed in. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. I hope I’m lucky enough to visit Hvar and this lovely family again. Highly recommend.

Tomka was a wonderful host, and the apartment had nice rooms with all the comforts our family needed. I visited olive tree with my family in August 2024, and its beautiful location near Hvar center worked perfectly for us.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and even gave us a welcome gift. The cozy apartments have a stunning view of the city center. There was no parking spot and some basic amenities, like shampoo, were missing. Even so, the experience was incredible, so I still give it 5/5.

The communal patio was a highlight, with a lovely vineyard on one side and broad views across Hvar, including the harbor and the fortress above town. Getting into town is easy, though, like in many old towns, there are stairs to climb. They weren't too difficult, but anyone with knee problems should bear that in mind. We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment, which Tonka keeps spacious and extremely clean. The three of us appreciated having two bathrooms and a washing machine. My wife and daughter were happy with my choice too. Thanks to travel author Rick Steves for making me look good!
