The area felt welcoming and cosy, especially thanks to the next door neighbour :) The apartment was spacious and felt like home, and our host was lovely.

The view from our room was genuinely lovely, and the village itself is beautiful. But that shouldn't be confused with the quality of the accommodation. I'm Croatian and spend every summer in private seaside rentals, and this stay was a very unpleasant surprise. Maybe this kind of service is fine for foreigners who don't know what to expect from a Croatian host, but it isn't how things normally are here. The house felt uncomfortable and creepy. We couldn't really enjoy the nice terrace because other people were all around, and it felt like they could hear every word. The room, especially the kitchen, had a strange smell. Cleanliness was okay overall, though not spotless. The apartments felt low quality, with thin doors and walls and cheap furniture. Those things might have bothered me less if the hosts had been fair and polite. There was no insulation at all. I was in a room between two apartments and heard absolutely everything from the neighbours, even whispers, as well as them peeing and farting. One went to bed very late and another got up early, so I only managed 4-5 hours of sleep a night. The hosts also made a lot of noise while cleaning early in the morning, shouting and laughing without considering that guests might want peace or sleep. Once, one of them came around 5 am, while it was still completely dark. The hosts seemed interested only in money and didn't want contact with guests. When I asked for help, they made it clear I was bothering them. Once I rang the doorbell to pay in advance and they wouldn't open; five minutes later, we saw them sneaking out and looking around. The woman passed us several times without even saying hello. When my friend decided to move to another apartment on the second day, I said I wouldn't use the separately charged kitchen because I don't cook. The woman rudely said they could have rented it to someone else and insisted I pay for it through the last day, even though I wouldn't use it. It was less than 50 euros, but it showed their attitude. I asked people nearby about it and was told many people on the island are like this, wanting your payment but hating tourists and not wanting to see them. That was definitely how the place felt. I wouldn't recommend it to light sleepers or anyone expecting basic friendliness from a host. I got home exhausted from the holiday. The host didn't issue a receipt or even ask if our stay had been okay.

The apartments were clean, nicely decorated, and had what we needed, though the views are so amazing you don't need much else. It's a bit far from Hvar city centre, but worth it for the calm, clean beach about a 5 minute walk away. The views and the attention were incredible. Recommended!!!

Lena was such a nice host. The room was clean and had a great view, and they even sold homemade wine cheaply.
