The staff at Riva Marina were so kind and helpful, and the breakfast was fantastic. It was made to order, and on the morning we left for the 6:25am ferry to Split, they packed us breakfast to take along. Our luggage had been lost in London, so by days 4, 5, and 6 without it, they offered to do our laundry and returned it the same day. The location is fantastic, just steps from the ferry. We had an amazing stay, and if we come back to Hvar, we’d definitely book Riva Marina again.

The spa was lovely, and we went often. The hotel is in a fantastic location. It’s worth making the effort to visit the fortress for the amazing photos from the top. Alviz is a great local restaurant and worth a visit too.

Our room looked out over the marina, where we enjoyed watching the boats and luxury yachts come and go. The hotel is right in the center, with everything walkable. Staff were friendly, kind, and ready to help with anything. I was given a birthday cake with a candle at breakfast, and on our last day they packed fruit and sandwiches for our trip home. The inclusive breakfast was great, with a buffet as well as hot dishes ordered from the menu. We’ve traveled to many places around the world, but haven’t had a breakfast like this one. We were very happy with the room and stay, and would recommend the hotel.

The location is very good, and the staff, including the bell service team, were pleasant and courteous. The outdoor bar has a good range of drinks, and everyone was helpful. The only problem was the AC. It didn’t cool the room enough during any of our three nights.

The restaurant and breakfast were amazing. We ordered all sorts of things from the menu and the lavish food stations. The hotel is lively and just steps from the docking marina, so it was easy to walk out and catch a boat or ferry for excursions. Staff were lovely and attentive, and our room was cozy and comfortable, with a little terrace outside. It was my first visit to Hvar, with a friend, and I really enjoyed our three nights there. This hotel is a gem, though a bit pricey. It’s vacation, after all!
