Villa Jagodna

We spent a wonderful honeymoon here. They surprised us with an upgrade to our room, and we had dinner there twice. The fresh seafood barbecue was delicious, especially the fish, the best we’d ever had. Breakfast was amazing each morning, and Ana treated us like family and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We explored town and other beaches in Hvar, but even as an adventurous pair, we found we preferred relaxing in the bay. We loved the cocktails too.

We made the restaurant reservation on the same day and only had a short time there, but it turned into a more than lovely evening. From the moment we sat down, everything felt just right. The food was amazing and the service outstanding. Thanks again for a nice evening.

We went to Villa Jagonda for dinner during a family holiday in Hvar. The set menu was €60 per person for two courses, with buffet starters and a choice of grilled meat or fish for the main, plus chips or vegetables. Wine by the glass was €10. We ordered fresh bream, steak and chicken. The chicken was good, but the fish had little flavour and the steak was tough and tasteless. For that price, we were underwhelmed.

The quiet atmosphere and lovely views made this four-night stay at Villa Jagodna a real treat. There are comfortable, private spots beside the water where you can relax or swim, and guests can use the kayaks and paddle boards for free. Breakfast was tasty, and dinner was wonderful, with fresh fish and meat cooked on the grill. The staff were friendly and treated us exceptionally well. A taxi from Hvar town takes about 15 minutes and costs around 25-30€ each way. There’s a refrigerator in the room, so bringing drinks and snacks for an afternoon by the sea is a good idea. We love this hideaway and can’t wait to come back.
