Villa Milton Hvar

The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, including fast Wi-Fi. There were two bottles of wine in the fridge when we arrived, and we spent a very romantic evening enjoying the magical terrace view. Mrs. Antonija was warm, kind, and so helpful that we felt at home. Villa Milton is only a four-minute walk from the Hvar waterfront, though the stairs up to the apartment seem to go on forever. We’ll be back next month, and would absolutely recommend it.

The sunsets from the balcony were breathtaking, and it felt wonderfully romantic. The apartment itself is spacious, modern, and clean, with a washing machine that came in handy. Getting up there takes plenty of steps, but it’s manageable, especially if you’re used to hilly islands. It was a perfect base for our girls’ trip and worth every penny.

The hilltop setting gave us a beautiful view, and the neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. There was also a cute, affectionate dog around. Our room was clean, and the host gave us useful recommendations. A bottle of local wine and water had been left for us on arrival, a nice touch. Everything went smoothly, and I’d happily stay here again.

We were just 3-4 minutes from the town center, though getting there meant a steep climb on the village steps. Walking down through the side streets was lovely, and we never felt rushed. The apartment was beautiful, with a comfortable double bed, Wi-Fi, and a nice bathroom and kitchen. I especially liked the friendly dog in the garden, who was happy to be petted. Our host gave us a map and some useful local information, and left wine in the fridge for us to enjoy on the balcony while catching the last sun before dinner. I’d book again if I return to Hvar.
