The bay looks beautiful from the balcony, and the apartment has its own bathroom, a sitting room, a separate bedroom, a small kitchen, and air conditioning. Marijo and his wife Bery are incredibly helpful, and the place is spotless. Ist is a lovely island, and the village center, beach, and fast ferry to Zadar are about a five-minute walk away. That ferry takes around two hours. The ordinary ferry leaves from another port, about ten minutes away, and takes four hours to reach Zadar (Gaźenica). There are two ferry ports on this small island, roughly 15 minutes apart, so check which one you're leaving from and the departure time. It's worth exploring the maze of paths behind the village. The water was 21 degrees in July when I went for a swim. The church is at the top of the hill, but go early in the morning or in the evening while it's cool. Ist is well worth visiting, though you might not want to leave.

We’ve returned to spend summers with Marija and his wife for a couple of years. They’re lovely hosts, always ready to answer questions and help out. The apartment has two bedrooms and is clean and well equipped, which worked well for our family. It’s only a few minutes to the center, though the walk back means heading up a hill.

We had a lovely view over the sea and islands from the terrace and garden, and the hosts were so kind they even treated us to fish. It’s a peaceful spot for a relaxing break, with shops, restaurants, and the center just a few minutes away. Thank you!

The bay view from the terrace is lovely, and the house is near both the town center and the beach. Inside, the apartment is beautifully furnished, with two cozy bedrooms. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
