This is our third time in a row at this hotel! The atmosphere feels warm and comforting, and the food is homemade. The service is perfect, and the workers speak English and Russian. The water is so clear it feels purifying, and the coastline has lots of trees, so the air is fresh.

The staff are so kind and polite, especially the person working at the Kavana, who was the best. This hotel is really unique and is becoming one of the best in Croatia. We recommend coming here and spending some time :)

Darinka at reception deserves five stars for being kind and resourceful. We were traveling from town to town and happened to arrive on the day the hotel had one room left, which she arranged for us. The place is below average and not luxurious or high class, so don't expect that. The facilities are just the basics needed to run the hotel, and the rooms and other areas are poorly maintained. Cleanliness was about two out of five: there was dust on the floor and things left in drawers by previous guests. We had both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was manageable with bread, yogurt, jam, cheese and similar basics, but dinner was the worst meal experience I've had on my travels. It was cold, the salad wasn't clean, and they were short on knives. The helpful staff and the juice and beer machines were the only good parts of the meal. At €93 per person for breakfast and dinner, I don't think it offers value for money. We'll return to Karlobag, but next time we'll rent an apartment or something.
