Kastav was such a peaceful spot for getting to Opatija easily. Djurdja made us feel like part of the family, even inviting us over for Easter breakfast. We loved having coffee on the balcony in the quiet, with birdsong and wide views across Kvarner Bay. You don’t get panoramas like that nearer the tourist trail. Highly recommend.

We only stayed one night and didn’t go down to the beach, but it seemed like a 20-30 minute walk to the sea. That distance is the downside. The apartments themselves are lovely, clean, and have a beautiful sea view, with a very friendly hostess. Breakfast in the nearby yard was the nicest part of our stay, and it’s a cozy place to spend the night.

We were glad we stayed here. The owner is friendly and willing to help if anything comes up, and the apartment has what you need for cooking and day-to-day living. It’s also close to shops and the beach. The terrace has a lovely view.

We had a really good stay. The room was spacious and luxurious, with two rooms, a big kitchen, and a roomy bathroom. Outside, there was a lovely terrace with sun loungers and a jacuzzi, plus a beautiful view. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had dishes, a toaster, coffee pot, and oven. There was also a washer and parking. The hostess was wonderful. Thank you.

The hostess was so welcoming, and the sea panorama was stunning. We got a spacious apartment with a gorgeous terrace and jacuzzi for a reasonable price. You’ll be very well looked after here 👍
