I picked this place because my flight arrived at split airport after 10.30pm, and I didn’t want to travel all the way into the city that late. The sea town was gorgeous, the quaint room was very clean, the staff were responsive, and the price was very affordable. I only stayed one night and already want to return. Checkout was early, at 10a, so I left my luggage in the restaurant while it was closed, borrowed a sunbed and towel, and walked along the promenade. I found breakfast and had a swim at the beach. It was so peaceful. The restaurant downstairs is apparently the highest rated, but it’s closed on Mondays, so I’ll try it next time. I think they may be small-dog friendly too, and hope to come back with my little guy ❣️✨

I came from Canada recently and needed an affordable hotel in a convenient spot near the airport. XIV Century Rooms worked perfectly for us. It was remarkably clean, and the room had a TV, a small fridge and a private bathroom with a shower. Being close to beaches, places to eat and public transit made getting around much easier. Tanja was especially welcoming and easy to chat with during our stay. I highly recommend it.

We stayed here twice and would come again. The rooms were comfortable, with air conditioning and clean en suite facilities. It’s above a konobo, but that didn’t affect our enjoyment of the accommodation. The staff are kind and can help with questions or problems over WhatsApp. The property is in the heart of the area, close to amenities and the bus stop for Split and the airport.

Tanja kept me informed before I arrived, so I felt welcome even before I met anyone. I only stayed one night and wished I could have stayed longer. Dinner was wonderful: the special menu was extremely good and affordable, around 35 Euro, and I’d seriously recommend it. Nina and Dominik were in the Konoba and made sure I had plenty of the amazing wine they served! I didn’t meet the other staff, but I’m sure they’re just as awesome. Thanks for the night!
