The food was fabulous, with plenty of fresh salads, fish, meat, and hot dishes, plus the best pizza made to order. All the staff were brilliant, and special mention to Graham, whose pilates and stretching classes were excellent. We spent the week unwinding on the beach and swimming in the warm, very calm sea. The location is beautiful, and it’s hard to find fault with the hotel. Our only small gripe was that we arrived at 1pm, but my suitcase didn’t make it from the boat to our room until 4pm, so we lost an afternoon at the beach. The rooms are up some steps, or quite a few depending on the block, so it may not suit people with mobility issues. It wasn’t a problem for us. We had a fabulous time and hope to return in 2026!

The private beach was the highlight for me, with comfortable loungers and umbrellas that made it perfect for relaxing in the sun. The pool area was pristine too. TUI Blue Kalamota Island was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and I was delighted with my stay. There was a wide choice of food and drinks available throughout, with plenty of tasty dishes. I had a wonderful time, and the hotel exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it for a great vacation!

The island is lovely, and getting there by ferry from Dubrovnik’s Gruz port was easy. The staff were friendly and attentive, and although we stayed only two nights, we enjoyed the tasty all-inclusive food and drinks, with a good range of choices. The games room could use a refresh, perhaps with a new darts board, some video games, and more playing cards. I also noticed people without hotel wristbands using the beach sunbeds. That might become an issue during busier periods.

I could spend ages paddling in the clear blue water and feeding the fish. It’s so relaxing. The island is quiet, with no cars, and we love the views from both the restaurant and the bedroom. This was our second visit to the island and TUI BUE. The buffet has plenty of choice and was better than what we’ve had at some all-inclusive hotels in the Canary Islands.
