We spent five nights here during the Goulash Disco Festival, and I’m glad to add a recent review. This is a cute family-run holiday apartment setup, rather than a three-star hotel, so that distinction matters. As far as I know, there are three apartments: one on the ground floor, where we stayed, with a nice porch table, and two upstairs that share a balcony with a small, distant sea view. From Booking dot come, it looks like the upper ones are arranged for couples with one double bed each. The lower one has a double bed and a single bed, so it sleeps three. Our ground-floor apartment was beautifully renovated, with wooden decor that made it feel warm and cosy. It wasn’t large, but had what we needed: an electric stove, small fridge, microwave, kettle, pots and pans, strainer, bread knife, cutting knife, plates, cups, wine glasses, cutlery, and more. The bed was literally a dream, super comfortable, with a bedside dresser and power outlets. The bathroom was clean and functional, with great water pressure and hot water straight away. Its window has a mosquito net and opens at the top, so you can get fresh air while keeping privacy. The downside is that it faces the street, so passing people, cars, or motorbikes can make it a little noisy. Closing the bathroom door may help, but I’d bring earplugs just in case. We picked this place because it was the closest we could find to the festival at the nearby "dog beach". That beach and another one beside it are about a 10-minute walk away, and the town center by the harbor is roughly five minutes on foot. The large supermarket is around 7-10 minutes away. The apartment is near one of the highest points in town, without a great view, so there’s an uphill walk. It wasn’t bad for us, though rain or intense heat could make it tiring. I’m not sure about parking, but I think there’s enough room on a nearby road. I first contacted Anna on WhatsApp to book directly and pay cash instead of paying booking fees. I was nervous because there was no booking guarantee, but I could also cancel at any time. It turned out to be a smart decision, and everything went smoothly when we arrived. They’re totally trustworthy. Anna’s husband IVAN greeted us for check-in, super nice and friendly. We spoke Italian; he also knows French and some English. He showed us everything and said we could use the beach towels and beach mattress. The beach is rocky, not sandy. He also offered us an amazing homemade liqueur. For the price, it’s great value for Monday. The hosts are very accommodating, which matters a lot as a guest. Thank you, Anna and Ivan, for a perfect stay! 😊❤️🙏
