The quiet setting and the hills outside the window made mornings feel peaceful, with the little river below and the garden scents coming in. It’s just beyond busy Dubrovnik, and an Uber to Pile Gate cost us €9. Our host was so kind, treated us like family, and even made homemade baklava. We loved the daily walk up to the monastery on the hill, with the mountains around us. The apartment has a special, calming feel. We could have stayed for weeks, and we’ll be back later this summer, 1000%.

The terrace view was beautiful, and there’s a shop nearby with good connections to the center of Dubrovnik for 2. We’re delighted with the place. The hostess was warm and very helpful.
