Moro Inn

What stood out most was how helpful and warm the staff were. Like many Croatians, they were friendly and went out of their way to make our holiday enjoyable. The rooms were clean and very modern too. I look for those two things, nice rooms and good service, and this hotel had both. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting beautiful Korcula.

The service was very good, and there's a Konzum supermarket just around the corner. Breakfast was nothing special, though handy given the hotel is a bit out of the way. We found the rooms clean, with an industrial feel. It's in an industrial area, but getting there by water taxi is easy. From Korcula old town, it costs 3€ per person, and the walk from the water taxi stop at „port 9“ beside the aminess resort takes 5-10 minutes. If you're nearby, restoran Malta is about a 15-minute walk and amazing.

The room smelled like garbage, and the carpet was so filthy I couldn't walk on it barefoot. It looked like it had never been cleaned or replaced and was collecting germs and bacteria. I stayed in room 104. They describe the style as industrial, but to me it looked unfinished, like an asylum. The toilet was behind a glass wall with no privacy at all, the bed squeaked and seemed broken, and we couldn't sleep. They never cleaned the room, bathroom or floor, and forgot to replace the towels. One day we came back to find the shower broken. The bedsheets felt like paper. This place was a nightmare, dirty and dangerous. Anyone praising it must have a fake profile, be a paid writer, or have stayed at a completely different hotel. I'm writing to the health and sanitation department because they can't let this happen. It's a dangerous hotel.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was small but good quality and enough for us. The rooms are basic, with only glass between the bedroom and bathroom. The curtains don't do much, so there's not much privacy. It's a fairly new warehouse-style hotel on an old industrial site. Getting around without a car is harder, though there's a large Konzum next door, and you can walk across to the resort to catch water taxis to the old town.
