The countryside around the hostel was fantastic for our field trip. I was there for a week with two other botanists, and we came across lots of interesting species. Igor was friendly, entertaining, and always willing to help. There wasn't a supermarket nearby, but we could buy delicious food at the hostel, made in a traditional Croatian style. Highly recommended.

I planned to stay one night and ended up staying several. The family made sure I was comfortable, and as a solo hiker I really appreciated the lifts to an ATM and near my Croatian Long Distance Trail trailhead. The beds were comfy, the showers warm, and they even served good Turkish coffee in the morning. It's a simple place, but the people make it special. Real Croatian hospitality. I’d love to come back with my whole family.

The hosts made our time there especially lovely. They welcomed me and my eight friends so warmly, and we got to try a traditional Croatian breakfast too. Cheers!

We arrived late at night, and the owner stayed up to welcome us. It’s very quiet and surrounded by nature. The rooms are cosy, the bathroom was clean with hot water, and guests can use the kitchen and coffee.
