Malena Palace Experience

The balcony view is a must-see. Malena, the owner, was the real highlight: she showed us her flower garden, made lemonade, and took time to chat. The rooms and beds were super comfortable, and it's a great place if you want to stay right in the heart of town.

The owner, who checked us in, was so kind. She brought homemade lemonade, then later brought watermelon while we were relaxing on the beautiful balcony with its roof garden. It completely won us over. The apartment is right in the heart of Split, a great spot for enjoying the city's many gems. One of the best places I've ever stayed, maybe the best. I won't forget it, and I'd love to come back someday!

We followed Malena's suggestion and had the buffet breakfast at nearby Santa Lucia Hotel. We loved it, and Ivan, the driver she recommended, took us to Šibenik for a very reasonable price and an entertaining drive. Malena welcomed us warmly, and we had great conversations over her homemade lemonade on the terrace, with its breathtaking old town view. Our spacious room looked out on the church, had crisp, carefully made bedding, and a lovely mix of Dalmatian and Scandi decor. She really puts in the effort to meet guests' expectations. Well done, Malena!

Malena does all she can to make guests comfortable, and check-in came with homemade lemonade. Upstairs there's a balcony with a great view of the tower. Our room was bright, spacious, spotless, and air conditioned, with a very powerful shower. The location is right in the heart of the Palace, steps from attractions, with restaurants nearby for different budgets. The place across the street serves excellent food, and there's a supermarket a few streets away. Thanks, Malena!
