We complained about the state of the hostel and the person in charge became aggressive and even threatening. We ended up having to leave, but they charged us anyway. The place was dirty and poorly furnished. Given how bad it was, I can see why the enthusiastic reviews are from years ago. Run!

The office staff were lovely and helpful, and my room was spacious and clean with good hot water. It’s a comfortable, family-run hostel, with cafes, a supermarket, and restaurants all just a short walk away.

The area is very quiet, and there’s a mini market right across the street. The rooms are large, the water pressure is great, and there’s plenty of hot water. The women who work here are excellent.

Hostel Bordada is very clean, everything was spotless. The rooms are large and great, each with its own bathroom, which you don’t usually get in a hostel. You can walk to anything you might need from this location. I highly recommend it!

The manager was generous with his knowledge of Kraljevica, the local culture, the region, and its history. His kind hospitality made my lifelong dream of experiencing Croatia come true. I’m endlessly grateful. Hostel Bordada gave me a clean, simple, comfortable place to stay during my short visit.
