Maja, the owner and host, was friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. The villa is in a quiet area, with Porec, Rovinj, Pula, Novigrad, and Umag all within driving distance for day trips or an evening out. The house is clean, cozy, and well equipped. Outside, there’s a spacious garden that feels open but still gives you plenty of privacy, plus a barbecue area with an outdoor kitchen and a large pool with loungers.

There’s plenty of green lawn to wander around barefoot, and the pool is nicely laid out. The owner is very warm, open, and friendly, and the setting is beautiful.

The hot water was the clear problem during our stay. Showers were lukewarm or cold, so we had to rush through them. We told the owners about this and the pool heating, which was only slightly warm. They came to turn up both the pool heat and the water heater, but it didn’t make a difference. The villa itself is comfortable and nicely decorated, with tidy rooms, private bathrooms, and everything from kitchen utensils to laundry detergent.

The house has plenty of space, new furniture, comfortable beds, and large bathrooms. Outside, it’s surrounded by greenery, and there’s a big pool. Everything is neat, very clean, and has that Istrian smell. Just what you need to rest your soul.
