Boutique Hotel Placa

Edita and Jasmina made us feel well looked after and were always easy to reach. The hotel is right in the old town, with the parking area about a five-minute walk away. Inside, the decor is pretty and carefully done without feeling overdone, and our room was clean. The windows shut out almost all the noise, so we mostly heard only the church. The AC worked great for both cooling and heating, which we appreciated toward the end of the season when it got chilly. We had a wonderful stay and would come back to Krk-city. I agree with the other reviews, this place is a real gem.

The only letdown was breakfast at Volsonis next door. It was fine, but staff smoking indoors made the dining area feel uncomfortable, and we wouldn't return for breakfast. The hotel itself was lovely. Room 5 had loads of space, a great feel, and a nice view from the window and terrace. It stayed quiet at night, and everything was clean and tidy. With the weather so bad, having such a comfortable place to come back to made a big difference. We’d recommend the hotel, just not the breakfast.

I stayed in a room with a terrace looking over the old town and its tower. The furnishings have been updated, and breakfast next door was tasty. It’s a charming historic house with just five rooms, and the hosts are lovely.

The room was peaceful and comfortable, with a roomy shower, and everything looked clean. I also liked the creative, attractive interior and the warm welcome. The hotel is right by the corner of the old town’s charming little main square. Volsonis is across the street and is a very good restaurant.
