Rooms Hodanić

We visited a friend who stayed in the apartment for five days. She told us she loved it. It’s in a good spot, very close to the sea.

Really nice.

This studio had a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, with what two people need apart from a washing machine and barbecue. The wooden beams and pale wood-look floors give it a charming feel. There’s air conditioning with a remote, a flat-screen TV we didn’t use, a small low fridge, an induction hob and kitchen utensils. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were a good height, and a blanket was provided. The location is handy, up a hill and about five minutes’ walk from the sea. The owners provide free parking about a minute away, just before you arrive. Since it’s in the countryside, insects may get in sometimes, so I’d keep doors and windows shut and use the air conditioning. On a rainy night, though, there was an unpleasant smell from the drains. I’d suggest keeping plugs available to stop the smell coming up. It really does help.

The room had everything we needed, plus a handy outdoor area for keeping our beach things. It was good value for money, in a very quiet area that’s easy to reach by car, with private parking. The center is a five-minute walk away, and the town beaches are fifteen minutes on foot.
