A peaceful spot in the green Istrian countryside, just 2 km from the sea and its beaches, with clear water. Pula and its international airport are about a 20-minute drive away. The villa is pet-friendly and has SUP available. Inside, the open-plan living and kitchen area looks out over the sea and the island of Cres. There are three bedrooms with balconies and en-suite bathrooms, plus air conditioning, underfloor heating, a fireplace for year-round stays, and an extra ground-floor WC. Outside, you get a private heated infinity pool, a spacious garden, and a kitchen with a BBQ and smoker. A top four-star modern sea-view villa, Sun Sea & Fire.

The apartment was clean, but we found the kitchen short on equipment. There was no frying pan, and some other utensils may have been missing too. The pool is small, and we shared the complex with four other families. It all looked much larger in the online photos.

We used both outdoor dining spots a lot, one in the flowering front garden and one in the courtyard, for breakfast or a bite to eat. The restaurant about 50 meters away had really good pizza, and there was also a nice meal to be had at the little nearby harbor. The "StoneVilla" is full of lovely details, but part of the fun is finding them for yourself. It was cozy, thoughtfully furnished, well equipped, fresh, clean, and well cared for. The rooms have such imaginative designs that they almost felt like a fairytale. Our hosts were friendly, helpful, and easygoing. We came to Krinica in early July 2018 with our three teenagers and had a varied, wonderful holiday, with lots of lovely trips around Istria. The quiet village street and the rental had us excited from the moment we arrived.
