Vrata Krke Hotel

We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return. The hotel was a peaceful, almost magical place to unwind, surrounded by beautiful nature and the nearby national park. My wife and I felt warmly welcomed by the staff from the moment we arrived, and the delicious breakfasts were a lovely way to begin each day. It was an unforgettable stay.

The main advantage is being right beside the entrance to Krka National Park, and we could leave our car at the hotel all day. The hotel itself feels dated. Our room was clean, but the pillows and blankets weren't comfortable, and the air conditioning was very loud. Breakfast was included in the price, but it was awful. I wouldn't have it again, even if it were included, and there were no vegan options.

We were looking for a quiet short break, and this was just right. The location is peaceful, surrounded by nature and lovely views, and our spacious room had all the necessary amenities and a stunning view of the pool. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety, and the terrace was a pleasant spot for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Hotel Vrata Krka is a wonderful place to relax.

My husband planned our Balkan trip well, even though visiting those countries wasn't originally on my wishlist, and our itinerary included one night at this hotel. We arrived in the late afternoon on a large bus, which had some trouble parking or dropping passengers off because the facade area was quite narrow. The hotel felt clean and comfortable, with nature close by, though we couldn't really enjoy the surroundings since we had to leave for another city or country the next morning. I remember just one small elevator. With our big group and all the luggage, the younger people had to carry the suitcases up and down the stairs. The place has an old-fashioned feel, but we were fine with that as long as it was comfortable and clean. While waiting for the bus in the morning, we took a few quick photos outside in the nicely arranged area.
