Apartments Gisela

We had a wonderful holiday in Makarska, and Split and Dubrovnik are close enough for a trip. The coastal drive there has unforgettable views. We stayed in the top-floor apartment in June 2024, with two bedrooms, a living room and dining space, a kitchen, and a bathroom. It was spacious and up to a high standard, with comfortable beds and parking provided. The large terrace had a lovely sea and mountain view, and we ate every meal out there at the table under the umbrella. The kitchen was well stocked with a fridge and freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker; there was also a washing machine in the bathroom. The center was a 5-7-minute walk, with shops, bakeries, and a market selling fresh fruit and vegetables nearby. The beach took 10-12 minutes on foot. Our hosts were friendly and happy to chat or lend a hand.

We stayed in August 2021 and found the apartment really comfortable. It had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen with dining area, and two balconies. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and even a hairdryer. Each guest was given two towels. The owners were kind and helpful, checking whether we needed anything and if all was well. The beach is about a 10-minute walk along the promenade. I highly recommend it.

My friend and I spent five days at the Giesela apartment from July 20th to 25th, and we were struck by how genuinely welcoming everyone was. My friend has a mobility impairment and finds stairs difficult. The hostess kept asking if we needed anything, then personally carried it up to our third-floor apartment just five minutes later. We were almost embarrassed by how warmly we were looked after. The practical side was excellent too: close to the harbor, center, and beach, with courtyard parking. The apartment was spotless and had all the basics, including a kitchen, air conditioning, and washing machine. Best of all, there was a huge terrace overlooking the sea and city. Many thanks to our hosts Nevena and Paul. We'll certainly return. P.S. Paul speaks perfect German, which was a big help at the start.

The owners were incredibly kind, and even the dog was great. Our large three-room apartment was spotless. The sea was a short walk away, with a lovely 7-8-minute stroll along the promenade.
