The room was spacious and clean, with a large balcony, and the owner was lovely. He spoke only German and Croatian, but we managed to understand each other. We found the place through tourist information, and the price was very reasonable. It’s ideally located near town, though up a slight incline. More towels would have helped, and the balcony could use some kind of shade.

The apartment was filthy, and there was no awning on the extremely dirty balcony. We had to park our car on a hill above the apartment. The vent and extractor hood were broken, the fridge had to be kept on setting 1, and we were told to use the air conditioning as little as possible. The owner was very unfriendly, came into our rented apartment every day without permission, and searched through our belongings. Our stay was terrible.

The apartment was comfortable and had a nice atmosphere. An older gentleman greeted us kindly and showed us straight to our part of the apartment. Everything else was top-notch, but there weren’t any towels, not even hand towels.

The price was reasonable, and the owner was welcoming. Our room was clean, with a bedroom, air conditioning and parking. We were able to check in early.
